Phoenix 56th street Study and CD’s
This MAG and City of Phoenix project is a complete streets and mobility study. This concept design makes the City of Phoenix more walkable, bikeable and public transit friendly and improves the livability of the region through complete street design. The complete street design for this project includes multitudes of shade trees and landscape buffers between the road and pedestrian conditions. The bicycle facilities for this design are complete with colored lanes and are separated from vehicle traffic to provide systemic safety along this corridor. HP+D provided Data Collection, Data Analysis, Project Assessment, and Conceptual plans for this project. This process of study and design was done in accordance with ADA, PROWAG, and AASHTO guidelines.
