This project provided the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) with a structured masterplan for 27 new bike station locations around the southern portion of Scottsdale, Arizona. Bike stations were chosen in areas with proximity to popular destinations such as, community centers, schools, parks, and employment centers. 3 general tiers were created to determine the size and depth of each station. Each bike station’s tier was determined by the demand of the location. Some bike stations were designed to enhance the user’s experience by including features such as drinking fountains, trash cans, seating, and air pumps.
